Mauro Preserve Habitat Restoration

Client: Buena Vista Audubon Society
Location: Oceanside, CA

As part of a comprehensive habitat restoration project located near a federal military base, American Hyroseed performed native hydroseeding, a hydraulic compost application, and 1,000 ft of compost sock application on 32 acres of protected land. We also installed gravel berm reinforcement, rock berms, and gravel roads. Additionally, we provided weed abatement on 32 acres and installed 6,800 LF of fiber rolls.

This restoration project was located in a sensitive habitat requiring our experienced crews to work consciously around native vegetation and wildlife. Furthermore, there were several roads with difficult access, requiring unique methods to approach certain areas.
